This Privacy Policy applies only to the JC Thermal Master mobile application. It does not apply to our website (www.jc-technology.at) or to other services provided by JC-Technology GmbH.
JC Thermal Master is an offline-first application for capturing, viewing, and organizing thermal images from FLIR ONE cameras. The core functionality does not require an internet connection, and data remains under the user’s control.
JC Thermal Master does not collect or transmit personal data to JC-Technology GmbH or to any third parties. All thermal images, associated notes, and metadata (including temperature values and, if enabled by you, GPS coordinates) are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded or shared automatically.
USB Access: To connect to and communicate with FLIR ONE hardware via the official SDKs.
Camera and Storage: To capture thermal images and save them locally on your device together with project data and metadata.
Location (GPS): Used only if you enable “Enable GPS recording” in a project, to tag images with the capture location. The app does not track location in the background and does not share location data.
You can manually export projects as ZIP files from within the app. Export is a user-initiated action; no uploads occur automatically. Exported files are written to your device storage, and you decide how and with whom to share them.
The app communicates with FLIR ONE cameras using official FLIR SDKs. Based on our implementation, these SDKs operate on-device and do not transmit your images or metadata to FLIR or other third parties. JC Thermal Master does not include advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting services that would collect personal data.
You may keep GPS tagging disabled at all times. You can delete images or entire projects within the app. You may also remove locally stored data by clearing the app’s storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the app. (Files you previously exported outside the app are not removed by uninstalling.)
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
